Midweek Miscellaneous

D is in Paradise now and his new cell phone works great at the house, only cuts off if he goes far out in the woods.

I woke up early and did a bunch of errands this morning, including going back to Verizon to try again to get them to transfer my phonebook from old phone to new and they still hadn't gotten the upgraded software for their machine. I'm going to have to go back again. Maybe I'll just type them all in by hand while bored.

While waiting for the Verizon people to try to make it work, I bought some cute little shirts from a store I've been avoiding stepping into.

If I gain any weight back, the shirts won't fit me so maybe I should stop trying to eat. It doesn't do any good anyway, I lost a couple more pounds in the past few weeks. I really miss the T&A I had going on last year.

But if I get back down to 100 pounds, someone should shoot me.

As it always happens in threes, I have three new job opportunities. One is for the photographer who lives next door to my current part-time boss who needs someone who knows photoshop, another is for an amazing graphic designer who I met at su/bu/d and needs web-site work for a client, another is just a little couple hour thingy.

I'm not going to hold my breath for any of them, because I know better now. We'll see.
